What is Fillsafe?
Fillsafe is a PDF form filler for iPhone. You open a PDF from Files or Mail, pick a common official form from its catalogue, or photograph a paper form. The app finds the fields, fills them with the details you have saved, asks for anything missing, and gives you one finished PDF to sign and send.
It is built for the paperwork that arrives at the worst time: a W-9 a client needs before paying you, a lease application due tonight, onboarding forms for a new job, a school form for your child. Each of them asks for the same name, address, dates and numbers you have typed a hundred times. Fillsafe keeps those details on your iPhone, for you, your family members and your company, and writes them into the right boxes.
It works with fillable PDFs and with flat or scanned forms that only have boxes and lines. Every answer is highlighted on the page so you can check and correct it before you sign. Drafts are saved, so you can stop and resume, and undo is always there.
What Fillsafe does not do. It does not give legal, tax or immigration advice, does not tell you which form you need or what to answer, and does not file or send forms to any agency. It only copies details you saved and confirmed. A signature drawn on the phone is not accepted everywhere, and Fillsafe is not affiliated with any government agency. Filling forms requires a Fillsafe Plus subscription.

- Autofill memory. The details you confirm about yourself, your family members, children and companies fill the next form faster. Sensitive fields such as a passport or Social Security number are optional.
- My Documents. Save your ID, passport or driver's license by photo. The text is read on your iPhone with Apple's Vision framework and reused in later forms.

Does the AI see my personal details?
No. The AI sees only the blank form: its printed text, field names and layout, with none of your answers. It returns a plan of which kind of detail goes where, and your iPhone writes in the values. Your saved details, identity documents, answers and signatures are stored encrypted on your iPhone. Voice answers and photo restore are optional, each asks for its own consent, and each sends only the short recording or the one page you choose.
Can Fillsafe fill a paper form or a flat PDF without form fields?
Yes. Photograph the paper form and the scanner crops it into a clean PDF, or open a flat or scanned PDF. Fillsafe finds the boxes and lines, fills what it can from your saved details and asks for the rest. Fillable PDFs with real form fields work too.
Which forms does Fillsafe work with?
Any PDF you open from Files, Mail or a link, any paper form you photograph, and a catalogue of common official forms that the app downloads from the agency's own website and checks against the file it expects. Typical uses are a W-9, a lease application, job paperwork and school forms. Agencies change their forms, so check that you have the edition you were asked for.
Can I fill in forms for my children or my company?
Yes. You can save details for family members, children and companies alongside your own and use them when you are allowed to fill in forms for them, for example as a parent, guardian or officer. Each person signs with their own signature; Fillsafe never adds a signature for someone else on its own.
Is a signature drawn in Fillsafe accepted everywhere?
No. Many recipients accept a drawn signature, but some require an ink signature, a notary or a specific e-signature service. When a recipient asks for ink, print the form, sign it and scan it. Fillsafe does not promise that any recipient or agency will accept a form signed in the app.
Does Fillsafe file or send the form to the agency?
No. Fillsafe produces one finished PDF that you send yourself by email, the share sheet, print or save. It does not contact any agency, does not file forms and does not check whether your answers are correct or complete.
Does Fillsafe give tax, legal or immigration advice?
No. It does not tell you which form you need, whether you qualify for anything or what to answer, and it never invents tax, insurance or legal facts. It only copies details you saved and confirmed into the form you chose. For advice, talk to a qualified professional.
